Duke de facto recognized by Spain

Today in UNIS province Spanish teacher and worker for the Spanish government has recognized Duke as a sovereign nation. Duke is not fully recognized by spain but it is de facto. In an interview President Tom Kap said: This is the first and most important step for international recognition. Duke will always be advocating for international recognition and will be a peace loving nation. Even if this dream is not complete when Im alive I hope my succesor will carry it on when my time as president is over. Duke has the potential and so do many other micronations.

This is excited and the recognition has been celebrated. Mar Rodriguez Sanchez is also Spain's current ambassador to Duke (Not officially recognized by Spanish government standards).

Walker threatens Duke with Sanctions

Today in Chatham City Tom Kap received a letter saying that sanctions would happen on Duke. This user "Walker" has been known in Duke as the "Carlega" or lying invader. He attempted to take Pinang but Tom found out. Here is evidence: Tom Kap believes what "Walker" is doing is ridiculous. The Dukian Parliament is full of Dukian Nationalists and any provocation could lead to a conflict and even a vote on war. Tom Kap firmly is against a war but since Duke became a democracy, It's not up to him only.
